DD is a franchise cricket team of Delhi in Indian Premier League. The team Delhi Daredevils was also founded in 2008. The skipper of DD was V Sehwag, but this year Mahela Jayawardene will be playing the role of skipper of DD team who is currently a player of Sri Lanka cricket team.
The franchise is owned by GMR Group. DD has not won any title of IPL tournament. The group paid a total of US$84 million for it during the auction of franchise in 2008.
